A young growing family who are return clients, had the opportunity to purchase the adjoining apartment and expand their two bedroom home in a traditional Upper East side building. The living room, dining room and foyer were opened up to create an open loft like setting, which separated the children’s wing and master suite.

The master suite occupies the adjoining unit and contains a home office, large walk-in dressing room and spa-like bathroom with limestone walls and a screaming red resin vanity.

An exotic hardwood floor, metallic tile, dropped soffits and new lighting all seamlessly tie the two units together resulting in a clean and comfortable space.
